Happy Mother’s Day! This holiday always gives me the warm fuzzies and makes me so thankful for my mama and my grandmothers as they have aspired me to do my best for my own kids. I hope you take this day and enjoy lots of cuddles and being spoiled. Nothing better than being surrounded by so much love!! I compiled some of my favorite mama photos from this past year into a slideshow. I look forward to making this slideshow every year. Please feel free to comment and share! Enjoy!
4 Generations of amazingness. I was so honored when Heather messaged me to capture her grandmother, mom, aunt, herself and son in a photoshoot. A generational shoot has been on my bucket list for a while now, I am so happy I can scratch that off and hope to do another one soon!! It was such a sweet and tender session with lots of laughter. Since this sort of shoot was a first for me, I bumbled my way through it and no one gave me the stink eye! That is a seriously a plus right there. 😉 Heather’s family was so much fun and had me in stitches on a few occasions. I am in love with the results and it makes me wish I could have done this with my own grandmother. They will have these photos forever to treasure and I am so happy they asked me to take them. I also took photos of just Atticus. He was so funny and had so many expressions. I went a little overboard, but how could you not? You can check out the results below in my video montage I put together. Feel free to leave some love and if you are interested in your own session, please email me!
Because I am ocd over my images, please watch this in hd. It will make me happy.
I love, love, love Sedona Engagement sessions. No matter what, they turn out amazing and always end up being my favorite sessions of the year. I wish it was a tad bit closer to Kingman, but so worth the drive for the amazing scenery, awesome weather, and incredible restaurants. Yes, it is my secret highlight of the trip. Since I am not a wedding photographer, I don’t get too many engagement sessions, but I sure do love them and I hope Tyler and Rachel love them as well. Thank you guys for the fun session!
For anyone interested in a Sedona engagement session, I do travel there for no additional cost. If you are interested in booking your own session (it doesn’t have to be Sedona) email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss ideas. I am now booking for June, so hurry!
The Shelleys contacted me last year to book an extended family session. Truth be told, extended family sessions can be a little daunting since there are so many people to focus on. The Shelleys made the process so enjoyable and had the best sense of humor, I truly enjoyed their session! Not only that, but the love for each other comes through in these photos. Time is so fleeting and I can’t stress how important it is to capture these important years. I am looking forward to hanging their wall portraits in their house, but until then check out their session!
